Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle public enquiries and complaints;
  • Prepare press materials, and monthly newsletters for the works project;
  • Prepare presentation materials and attend public consultation forums;
  • Prepare papers and presentation materials for District Council meetings;
  • Liaise with the general public;
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, project brochures, fact sheets, newsletter, etc to the satisfaction of the Project Manager and Supervisor;
  • Prepare, arrange and obtain Project Manager and Supervisor acceptance on the relevant information to be uploaded to the project website in monthly basis;
  • Upload relevant information to the project website;
  • Construction video film;
  • Assist the Project Manager and Supervisor in liaison with members of District Councils;
  • Attend meetings of District Councils;
  • Attend Community Liaison Group(s) meetings.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in communication, public relations or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in public affairs, community relations, complaint handling, corporate communications and crisis management;
  • Experience in community relations and dealing with District Council;
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing;
  • Proficient in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese;
  • Proficient in written English and Chinese;
  • Good inter-personal skills;
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Community Liaison Officer.
