Merchandiser - Pet care

Job Duties:

• Responsible for sourcing, merchandising, sampling, quality, price comparison, price negotiation, shipment coordination, factory evaluation etc.
• Responsible for project execution with milestone control and good time management
• Keep abreast of market trend
• Communicate with customers to clarify inquiries and specifications
• Supply chain management including supplier search, screen and identify potential supplier. Monitor suppliers’ performance
• Organize and accompany buying/sourcing trips with customers during buying season.
• Perform other ad hoc duties.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or above with 3 years above independent product sourcing and merchandising experience in trading company or buying office
• Experience in handling pets/toys/apparels products is preferred
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Good time management and project management skills, can work on a project independently
• Sound PC knowledge including MS office
• Good product sourcing knowledge and bargaining technique.
• Good network with factories and suppliers in HK & Mainland China.
• Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
• Hard working, Responsible, detail-oriented, flexible and willing to learn
