Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 530744) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
The LKS Faculty of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Executive Officer for Partnership (Global including Mainland China) and Engagement. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in advancing the faculty's international collaboration efforts and promoting engagement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance global partnership opportunities, with a specific focus on Mainland China;
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with international partners and institutions, stakeholders, and key individuals within the Faculty;
- Coordinate and support the planning and execution of collaborative projects, events, and initiatives;
- Act as a liaison between the faculty and external organizations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration;
- Conduct research and analyses on global health trends, policies, and developments, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making processes;
- Manage administrative tasks, including budgeting, reporting, and documentation related to global partnership activities; and
- Support the development and implementation of engagement strategies to enhance the Faculty's visibility and reputation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Management or other related fields, with at least 5 years’ experience in international partnership development and engagement, preferably in the academic or higher education sector;
- Strong understanding of global health trends, policies, and practices, particularly in Mainland China;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders;
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving abilities; and
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
