We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Student Affairs Office:
Assistant Student Affairs Manager (SAO) - (Ref: 24002AD)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Designing and implementing campus-wide programmes related to enriching students’ campus life and fostering leadership development;
- Advising student leaders of the student organisations and providing supportive resources to student-led activities;
- Supervising junior staff in providing full support to the establishment, registration and development of student organisations and non-sports University Teams;
- Providing secretarial support to management committee and handling incidents in compliance to the relevant mechanisms;
- Designing and conducting student survey in collecting, assessing students’ need and measuring educational impact;
- Performing any other duties as assigned; and
- He/she may be required to work outside normal office hours.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized degree with a minimum of five years’ relevant post-qualification work experience in education or social services sectors, preferably in student affairs or student development;
- Experience in student engagement as staff or as student leader would be an advantage;
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua), as well as excellent interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills; and
- Sound computer knowledge, mature personality and ability to work under pressure.
Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
