IT Specialist

What will I be responsible for?

• Responsible for providing daily technical support in the Asia region, ranging from desktop, network, system, software, to hardware.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and testing of technical hardware and software to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide helpdesk support and solutions to users by remote or on-site
• Provide comprehensive network and server support, including backup, monitoring, and installation.
• Assist in managing hardware & software inventory and maintain up-to-dated inventory record
• Collaborate with vendors for various IT tasks such as facilities purchasing and repairing
• Respond promptly to urgent business requests and perform professional IT ad-hoc duties as required

What experience/skills do I need to be successful in this role?

• High Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Helpdesk Support or relevant experience
• Knowledge of MS Windows, Office 365
• Hands on experience in PC problem diagnosis and end user support
• Experience in supporting Windows Server & Linux platform will be an advantage
• CCNA / MCP / MCSA / MCSE holder is preferred, but not a MUST
• Knowledge of networking, VMware ESXi/vSphere and Veeam Backup
• Sensational analytical and problem solving skills
• Good team player, self-motivated and communication skills
• Can work under pressure and independently
• Overtime working during non-office hours may be necessary for projects / incidents
